Opportunity & Impact

As HALO expanded its portfolio and brought aden + anais under the same digital umbrella, the brand needed a unified ecommerce experience that could support multiple brands while maintaining their distinct identities. The migration from Magento to Shopify Plus also needed to simplify discovery for busy parents and gift-givers.

Barrel partnered with HALO to design a dual-branded experience that balances the distinct identities of both HALO and aden + anais while making it easy for customers to shop across both brand’s product offerings.

From a streamlined navigation to an optimized mini-cart, the new Shopify Plus experience enables cross-brand discovery and simplifies the path to purchase for busy parents and gift-givers.

To support brand storytelling and reinforce HALO’s mission through nationwide initiatives like the Hospital Program, we developed flexible storytelling templates that can be customized to highlight the unique story of each initiative.

To enhance product discovery and create contextual shopping moments, we reimagined collection landing pages to highlight the stories behind beloved collections and brand collaborations like Disney and Harry Potter.

We created robust content hubs for the two brands to boost SEO and establish both as trusted leaders in baby care through expert guides, tips, and educational resources that deepen relationships with their audience.

We also supported HALO’s acquisition of Child Craft, migrating the brand into the HALO site while preserving SEO, expanding the assortment, and setting the stage for future brand rollouts.
