Established in 1889, Zatarain's is a renowned American food and spice company celebrated for its authentic New Orleans–style products that embody the rich culinary traditions of Cajun and Creole cuisine. As Zatarain’s expanded its digital presence within the broader McCormick ecosystem, the brand needed a website that could celebrate its New Orleans heritage while supporting modern ecommerce and product discovery. The platform needed to highlight recipes, pantry staples, and bold Cajun flavors while guiding customers to retail and online purchase options. 

Barrel transformed Zatarain's digital experience to elevate their digital presence—modernizing the brand experience while celebrating its rich heritage and loyal community.

The new site brings Zatarain’s bold spirit to life—sparking inspiration with crave-worthy recipes, spotlighting their flavorful product line, and celebrating a brand legacy loved for generations.

We designed robust product pages using branded graphics, value propositions, and educational content, such as recipes and prep guides, to clearly convey product stories and drive conversions for Zatarain’s

User-generated video reviews give long-time Zatarain's fans a voice and help new customers build confidence in their purchase.

To ensure the new designs resonated with Zatarain's loyal community, we leveraged Helio to A/B test concepts and gather real-time feedback before implementing the design system.
