Aquor Water Systems redefined the traditional spigot by making a sleek and modern hydrant and other home & garden accessories. They engaged Barrel to increase customer acquisition and optimize the overall experience on their website.
The new website streamlines product discovery through the navigation, creating clearer pathways for their two primary audiences – homeowners and contractors. The new navigation encourages customers to explore by product or project type, and prominently features Aquor’s star product, the hydrant.
During our website strategy phase, we guided Aquor’s team on how to integrate their B2B experience across the site through Shopify B2B and flexible templates. This will allow for more personalized content for this audience’s needs, which differ from a homeowner’s.
To reduce the rate of returns, we streamlined the product variant selection directly on the product details page, making it easier to compare products and select the right option for your needs. This also made it easier for Aquor to manage the SKUs on the backend.
Aquor had previously developed how-to guides to educate users on how easy installing Aquor products without a contractor is. We recommended adding this educational content to the blog to support their SEO strategy and improve overall customer experience post-purchase. We built the foundation for Aquor’s team to apply this change moving forward.
To increase conversions and AOV, we implemented a free shipping bar and dynamic upsells within the cart, powered by Rebuy. The cart also features quick checkout through multiple payment methods, and key information like Aquor’s limited lifetime guarantee and delivery times.
