Creating a Tailored Experience for Rentacrate’s Customers

Rentacrate is a moving equipment company that makes moving for businesses and homes simple, sustainable, and smart. Barrel continues our long-term partnership with Rentacrate to help execute the brand’s goal of alleviating the stress of moving by providing sustainable moving tools as well as a full suite of services & labor tailored for commercial moves.

We conducted a customer journey audit to understand the existing communication and discoverability of services and determined steps to help visitors better understand the Rentacrate Commercial and Residential offerings. We identified an opportunity for a more tailored experience for their two audiences to drive higher engagement by splitting the traffic into dedicated landing pages.

The new homepage highlights Rentacrate’s services for businesses and homes, moving hub locations, and social proof. 

The Commercial landing page features a Rentacrate Business-specific logo and encourages commercial customers to schedule a consultation with Rentacrate’s Move Concierge to dive into the details office move. Residential customers are encouraged to book crates for their next move and checkout directly on the site.

The Commercial landing page also features links to Rentacrate’s Move Concierge and Crate Bundles pages, which are services exclusively offered to businesses. 

After the site’s launch, Rentacrate saw a 36% increase in conversion and significantly more engagement across the site.
