Launching COTE & COQODAQ's Exclusive Culinary Experiences

Gracious Hospitality Management (GHM) is the team behind Michelin-starred Korean Steakhouse COTE and the newly launched high-end Korean fried chicken concept COQODAQ. They partnered with Barrel to redesign COTE’s digital experience and bring COQODAQ online for the first time.

Opportunity

GHM needed modern, scalable websites that matched the elevated in-person experience of each restaurant. COTE required a refreshed digital presence that captured its signature atmosphere across New York, Miami, and Singapore. COQODAQ needed a full launch experience that introduced the brand to market and made reservations and online ordering simple.

We kicked off with a strategy and UX phase to align each site’s structure with GHM’s goals, driving online orders, elevating visibility, and clarifying the distinct identity of each restaurant.

Working alongside Pentagram and our sister agency BX Studios, we developed a unified strategy and framework that streamlines the management of both websites for the restaurant group.

To support GHM’s rapid growth, the unified framework makes it easy for both restaurants to launch new pages and future locations without rebuilding from scratch.

For COTE, we translated the brand’s award-winning atmosphere online, capturing the energy of its NYC, Miami, and Singapore locations through immersive storytelling and refined UX.

We streamlined the reservation experience for private and public dining and spotlighted Undercote, the underground cocktail bar, as a signature extension of the COTE brand.

Custom landing pages highlight each COTE location with unique menus, group dining details, and environment-driven visuals, reinforcing the brand’s national presence while celebrating local character.

For COQODAQ, we introduced the brand online with a site focused on awareness, hype, and conversion, positioning it as the new champion of Korean fried chicken and extending the shared GHM digital framework.
