To support DTC growth, Barrel redesigned their website, emails, and ads to deliver a modern, conversion-focused experience that scales with their expanding product line and drives customer engagement.

Vermont Smoke & Cure needed more than a website refresh. It sought a platform that could honor its smokehouse story while driving growth across DTC and retail. From product education to seamless shopping, Vermont Smoke & Cure wanted a site that could engage loyal fans, attract new customers, and set the stage for long-term expansion.

We created an immersive digital flagship that brought Vermont Smoke & Cure’s “uniquely Vermont” sensibility online, elevating their mission, ingredient stories, and sourcing standards.

On the product detail pages, we highlighted bold flavor profiles, clean ingredients, and distinctive packaging, using color themes to differentiate each product while reinforcing the brand’s premium positioning. 

To deepen the brand story, we produced custom photography and animations that showcased the products beyond their packaging and captured the essence of Vermont Smoke & Cure’s craft. 

We developed a traceability tracker that lets customers see when their products were made and where ingredients were sourced, building trust and transparency into the shopping experience.

To connect shoppers to local retailers, we integrated a store locator, tying the site back to in-person shopping and creating a true omnichannel experience.

We amplified the rebrand by designing a comprehensive social strategy, managing paid ads to attract new customers and drive trial, and launching a founder-curated blog that strengthened SEO through content-rich storytelling.

To support engagement and sales post-launch, we designed year-round email programs for seasonal campaigns and new product launches, including Healthy New Year and Summer Hiking.

As part of our long-term partnership, we managed Vermont Smoke and Cure’s digital ads to help attract and convert customers.
